"No Changes on the Eastern Front is a patch about calm in the midst of chaos, about the steely endurance of a Ukrainian soldier who has been holding his position for days and days. Despite the explosions, smoke and death around him, he smokes calmly in his trench. This is the bitter irony of war, in which the familiar has become unchanged.
The design is inspired by the realities of the frontline and at the same time echoes the anti-war novel of the same name. The patch reminds us that behind every “no change” there are people who fight every day to make changes finally come - in favor of peace and victory.
